I guess I should use this to promote the podcast a little more. So hello tumblr world. This is the story of ToAmuseMe. In 2007 Daniel (I never call him Tucker.) called me and said we should start doing a podcast. I for one didn’t know what the hell one was but he seemed damn determined to do one. We researched things a little and after a trial run with a micro recorder we got some gear and jumped right in. Our first episode was horrible. It clocked in at around an hour, was recorded on a cheap microphone, and was edited down to 45 minutes. We found a hosting site and then starting promoting the hell out of it on Myspace. Yes, Myspace.

The name ToAmuseMe is all Daniel’s idea because it was a good way to describe why we were doing it. We stumbled through another long episode before we decided to invest some money into the project. By our 5th episode we were figuring things out. We cut the episodes down to 15 minutes and started doing a show prep. Along the way we’ve hit a few roadblocks but we always find our way back to the show. So here we are technically on Volume 3.

We do crap to make ourselves laugh. Maybe you’ll laugh with us, maybe you won’t. Sometimes we hit one out of the park. (Jarrod and Daniel Open Your Mail) Sometimes we strike out. (The Street Dog Song. Sorry.) But if you keep listening, we’ll keep recording. Stay tuned, more stuff is heading your way.

Looks like this is the new home of ToAmuseMe. First off, podbean can suck it. Give me a few weeks on the appearance of this page, but I hope to have some shows up real soon.
